DESCRIPTION

This is an integrated system comprising of Traffic, Billing, Bill Production, Accounting and Credit Control, Masterfile maintenance functions for International Maritime Accounting (IMA) & International Mobile Services (IMS) to bill customers of maritime services. Among the new IS Request is USD/SGD Traffic Billing Implementation, Visa Card and Shipmaster Updation and Electronic Billing module.

DESCRIPTION

Debt Allocation System (DAS) generates the monthly Aging and Allocation Reports for the four major Subsidiaries Units of SingTel Group, includes SingTel, SingTel-Mobil, SingTel-Paging, and SingNet. Allocation of Debts is designed to meet statistics and inquiry requirements of debts for Corporate Finance and Credit Management to produce the Aging and Allocation Reports based on the Allocation Rule given. In addition to providing the Aging and Allocation Reports, DAS also generates the Penalty Charges Report, 1900 Age Analysis Report, and Flexible Reports. First DAS Live Reports were delivered from January 1999.

DAS also enhanced meet the auditor's request on delivering the monthly debt status reports for the Financial Year earned revenues. Among the new inclusion for the systems are FY0102, WAP, Port ID and Auto Flexi Reports.

Supporting Debt Allocation System production and implementing WAP, Financial Year 2001-2002, Flexi Report and Port ID changes for Debt Allocation System. Solving the outstanding problems on DAS Back-end (Unix, C) and Front-end Application (Delphi5.0). Database and system backup.

Client Server based GSM/PCN Invoicing System down loads the oversea operators charge details from CSI Mainframe system, and generates the monthly invoices. The system also provides the facility for sending the softcopy monthly Invoices and Accounting Statement to oversea operators through Auto E-Mailing. The system is also enhanced to support CROSS ROAMING and DUALSIM Networks in addition to the GSM/PCN Networks. To introduce auto-email to user for the request of some important reports. DESCRIPTION
Ship Master Input Files are received on daily basis from all over the world via ESAs for various inmarsat services (A, B/M, C and MINI-M) to update Account and Ship Details in the MBS system. PC based existing Gupta program is very slow in processing the daily files from ESAs. By using the power of C and Shell Script, it accepts input files from PC and process them at UNIX; this gives higher speed and more flexibility. Front-end screen is developed by PowerBuilder7.0 and it allows user to print the necessary control reports from the same PC interface. The new approach is transparent to user, which means they will be given similar existing interface to process the daily ship master files with the better response and speed.

DESCRIPTION
Write a store procedure in Sybase for the use of C program to populate data in the Visa Card customer for billing purpose. Front-end is developed by using PowerBuilder7.0 to print the receipt. Among the table affected are Accounts, Invoice Details, Invoice Header and etc. Verify and test the results by running the Billing and Invoice module in C program.

New Inclusion for DAS is WAP Billing, SMS Port ID and Financial Year 0001/0102 processing and reports. Impacted program for Wap Billing (Back-end) are Pre Allocation, Debt Allocation, Report Generation, and Credit Allocation. Impacted program for Financial Year (Back-end) are Financial Year (FY) Allocation, FY 00/01 Report Generation and DAS operational script. Impacted front-end application is DAS application developed by using Delphi 5.

DESCRIPTION

To view what are the RCs & PICs tied to each CFU groups, user had to manually create the correct PICs and RCs code tied to each CFU group from the Flexible Report Id table and view the PIC+RC Aging Reports details. System was enhanced to automate the RC & PIC sorting by CFU & Company Groups from the DAS Flexible Reports ID table for viewing and printing which involved logical and database programming.
